Because it's been almost a week since this one, I can't remember much of the detail about it, but it went pretty well and I managed to find Eddsfield without any problem. The diversion was south to Market Weighton and it all worked out ok from what I remember.
Two main things came out in the debrief:
- One is that we need to note down on the plog times and any heading corrections made so that the flight could be reconstructed if required.
- The second which was a bit of a conflict of information was that eyeballing headings and thumb measurements of distances is not acceptable for CPL and thast we need to obtain accurate headings and distances. This hasn't been the first instance of conflicting information from different instructors and this lack of uniformity annoyed me quite a lot today.
